Gianni Truvianni; Author Of The Book “New York’s Opera Society”

Gianni Truvianni; Author Of The Book “New York’s Opera Society”

My name is Gianni Truvianni; American by birth as I was born in New York City. Home to the “Metropolitan Opera House” which is without a doubt one of the greatest opera houses in the world along with so many others that I will not even attempt to mention them in fear of leaving any out. However what I will mention is that it was the “New York Metropolitan Opera House” along with the social life and grand music that surround this bastion of culture that inspired my novel “New York’s Opera Society”.

Regarding my knowledge of opera and classical music this I must confess that though what I feel is passion; I am but limited to playing the role of “serious aficionado” or what I would categorize as such. I only knowing what I do from the books I have read along with having spent the last ten years of my life listening exclusively to classical music and opera on DVD as well as “Mezzo”. “Mezzo” being a French channel which broadcasts classical music, opera and Jazz 24 hours a day. Listening at home conversely is not what I have limited myself to as I have also in recent years become a regular at Warsaw’s opera house (Teart Wielki) where I have seen just about every opera production offered from “Carmen” (Bizet) to “La Traviata” (Verdi). This last opera serving as the inspiration to my story “The Little Opera Singer” which is the tale of my daughter’s first opera outing and can be found on my website www.new-york-society.com.

My name is Gianni Truvianni, I am a writer as some of you may already know who has written not only several articles to be found on the internet but also the book “New York’s Opera Society” available on www.amazon.com and many other online bookstores. Memories Of My Grandmother

Time goes by, this nobody can prevent even if there intensions and will wish it were not so and as much as I in my thoughts am longing to reenter the past I can not for the past is not a place nor a time but images of things that have transformed themselves in to the present.

Part One

As for myself; I am 82 years of age and so much time has passed between that winter in which started me to being what I always knew myself capable of being which is a man of internal fortitude. It seems strange t… Continuer

Letter To Hillary Clinton

A satirical story of fiction concerning Poland’s ex first lady that perhaps contains some political reality though its purpose is basically to entertain adults with a very strong sexual encounter.

Dear, Hilary

The other day something happened that I simply have to tell you about and if there is one person I know who can keep a secret I know it is you. As you know I love doing charity work in other countries not that I could not be doing it in my own country but I get so much more world press a… Continuer

Some Ideas On How To Spend A Great New Year’s Eve At Home

Now, that Christmas has come and gone leaving us with so many fine memories of decorated trees along with presents it is time to think of New Year’s eve, that last day of the year in which we for some reason find to be significant enough to hold an all out, no holds bared celebration for. Well regardless of weather or not the evening which ends one year and starts the next is cause to party long in to the night is not the point of this article but what is, is to advocate the benefits of spending… Continuer

My First Christmas Tree

An article about the first Christmas tree I ever bought which inspired me to continue celebrating this season with first my wife then daughter.

My first Christmas tree is something I will never forget however it is not the one that was in my house when I was growing up that I am referring to but the first one I ever went out and purchased some 12 years ago. The year was 1995 and the day was a Friday as well as the first day of the month of December when I found myself sitting at home watching C… Continuer
